Job Description

Medical & Rehabilitation Ireland is the medical and case management division of AIG Europe Ireland. Its primary focus is to coordinate early intervention and accelerated recovery programmes for people who are absent from work secondary to illness and injury.

Primary accountabilities of the role include:

• Office based management of an active medical/ rehabilitation case load
• Liaison with Allied health professionals, GP’s /Consultants to negotiate care packages and treatment programmes
• Liaison with external and internal clients and other key parties involved in the rehabilitation process/ file management
• Meeting specified performance monthly targets
• Conducting client calls to manage individual accounts effectively and to develop strong working relationships

Education & Experience

• Previous experience either in rehabilitation, occupational health, community, or in primary health care setting
• Hands-on experience with musculoskeletal conditions
• Relevant medical qualification
• Possess excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Good communications skills – both verbally and in writing

• Ability to work on own initiative
